His idea of help was spamming everyone on his friends list, posting 50 bulletins a day, and turning his entire profile into a promotional tool including a tacky banner that I thought was a bit much. I emailed him and asked him to tone it down a bit, because it was a little spammy and tacky. He threw a fucking shitfit over it. Calling me every name in the book because I didn’t agree with how he was promoting MY ILLNESS with MY NAME attached.

Now, today, I receive an email saying that I am a fucking liar unless I provide all the documention, even though I have. He’s the reason I thought people were saying I was faking it. He’s the reason I posted the documentation I had on the nerdkiss.com website. And now, I’m being accused of being a goddamn liar, stress I don’t need, just a few days away from surgery. OH and he’s DEMANDING his donation back. Yea…. This guy is a fucking tool.

So you can ignore my messages, BUT(T) it’ll just prove that you need to be taught a lesson about doing the right thing OR paying the consequences of doing the wrong thing(s).  So send me the actual documentation disagnosing you with haveing cervical cancer, as you said you would from the beginning OR face the consequences of “crying wolf” and involving others in your little bill-paying scam.

If I don’t receive the documentation by midnight tonight, I’ll presume you’ve fallen into the category of scam artist and take appropriate actions.  And if I receive the documentation, in the form of image file(s), and it/they don’t appear to be legitimate, the same actions will be carried out to warn anyone and everyone of your deceitful practices.

Oh holy shit… this girl is the worst plagiarist ever! She’s stolen multiple posts from me and Matt Inman of The Oatmeal, as well as several other well-known websites. I haven’t checked the whole site, but she’s been blogging for a really long time, so who knows how many other things she’s stolen.

She changes tiny details of posts (or just posts the text from a comic) and tries to pass it off as her own work. For example, she re-drew my pain chart and thought that somehow that made it okay.

She does not get 24 hours notice. Attack now please.

Wow…. I mean, I totally get the want/desire to be famous, but quit Milli Vanilliing yourself ya dumb twatwaffle! Plagiarism is bad, mkay?

Well, I recently found out about a month ago that 2 REALLY famous porn stars started working on the site…. and that would be the exact time my income went from “crap, I can barely cover my bills” to “crap, I can barely cover A bill”. WTF were they thinking? It just goes to further the proof that the owners are dicks who care absolutely nothing about the amateur industry that they’ve built their name upon.

So, I am currently job hunting full time to make sure I have a job lined up by mid next week. I’m also looking to take on any web design projects I can to make sure I can pay bills @ the end of the month. (Spread the word, will ya?)

But, this has spawned a HUGE debacle on my facebook. I was bitching about the obvious bullshit that the owners of MFC are attempting to pull, and their blatant screwing of us models who’ve stuck with them since they barely had 100 models on the entire roster. A topic of ethics in the porn industry then arose. There is a guy I used to know that I had added on there.

He pretty much said that the porn industry will never have any real ethics and mostly due to the fact that no one cares. Which is bullshit. But what the fuck ever.
The part that pissed me off is that he doesn’t think we’re ‘important’ enough for anyone to pay attention to regulations, ethics and that we’re all unethical bastards that are here to make a quick buck. ENTIRELY UN-FUCKING-TRUE. In fact, I know more ethical people in the industry than unethical for the simple fact that we outcast anyone who is purposely screwing the industry. Anyone who’s out ‘to make a buck’ and nothing else pretty much gets an ear lashing and is cast aside. We don’t want people like that around us, ever. It’s hard enough getting  the people of this country to listen to us without douchebags around. Self-regulation. And we didn’t even have to have the government step in and tell us we HAD to do it a certain way. Holy shit!

This all set me off on quite the tantrum and still has me rather irked, being 2 hours after the original comments were made.

To top it off, I found out that Astroglide’s ‘Natural Lube’ in fact contains Methylparaben which is a SYNTHETICALLY created preservative. It has been scientifically proven to cause breast cancer, serious allergic reactions and increased aging if you put it on your skin and go into the sun (it’s in a lot of lotions and the like). It also has some pretty serious estrogenic side effects, both expediting and slowing periods & menopause. I threw a shit fit when I found this out. I am very picky about what I’ll stick in my vagina because let’s face it, it’s the money maker in this relationship. I have to take care of it. Period. So, I sent an extremely negative email to Astroglide demanding my money back for purchasing their fake natural lube and explained to them the side effects of methyparabens (which I’m sure they are quite aware of, just ignore). Did you know that most of the rest of the world has BANNED glycerines & parabens in products that can cause such side effects? The only way that mehtylparaben ISN’T harmful is if you ingest it or take it via IP Injection to help with fluid loss when needing to replenish blood supplies. That’s It. WTF people? How in the hell does one of the most highly technological countries in the world let something so OBVIOUSLY bad for you, still exist in products? It makes absolutely no sense to me. And it’s not like ‘fast food’ bad for you… something we all know about. So few people know about this stuff existing in their lotions, lube, hair gel, etc. AWARENESS NOW!

Over the past 12 hours, I’ve had many many lengthy conversations about the biggest news of the past 20 years: The Health Care Reform Bill. I’ve talked with people from every spectrum, from those who are convinced we are somehow more communist than we were before to those who are totally for the new bill.

The main issue that is coming out of the people against the bill is higher taxes. Unfortunately, this is a weak leg to stand-on. The only people who should see any increase in their pay to the government will be those who make $200,000-250,000 a year. Soon, they will see an extra Medicare tax as well as an increase to the current Medicare tax. That’s it. Not Joe Schmo who barely rakes in 40k a year with his wife. In fact, Joe will see some serious benefits to this, as he may be eligible for rebates on his insurance premiums. And daughter Suzy, who’s had an existing heart condition since she was born, will now have access to the health insurance she so desperately needs to survive.

The next group of people who will see any sort of monetary ‘conflict’ will be the 17-19% of Americans who can afford to pay for ‘Cadillac’ insurance: i.e. high premium, low deductible full coverage insurance. Since most of these same people are the ones making 200,000-250,000 a year, it wouldn’t really go to say anyone other than upper class will be monetarily affected by this new bill.

Now, the issue I’m seeing across the entire internet: This bill does not, I repeat DOES NOT setup a universal health care system. Which is sad, in fact. The US is one of the few industrialized countries that don’t have some form of universal health care. I had several people say “Oh, well their economy’s are in the shitter”… So’s ours? What’s your point? At least their people are taken care of and are trying to help the economy recover by being able to work more and thus spend more, because they use less sick days.

Another false comment creeping it’s way across the board: “Small business owners will have to close up shop because they can’t afford health care for their employess.” Not true at all. In fact, it only applies if you have 50 employees or more, and chances are if you do, you already have some form of health insurance. You will not receive a fine if you don’t have 50 employees. Period. No ‘reduced fine’, no ‘oh that 50 is a rough estimate’. Nothing. Your employees might get pissed about it all because they face a fine themselves if they don’t get insurance (and can afford it) but that’s about it.

That leads to the next point: If you can’t afford health insurance, you aren’t going to get fined. If you live within 150% of poverty level, the government claims you can afford to spend up to 8% of your yearly income on health insurance. Is it a feasible number? Honestly, I don’t know. I’ve never lived outside that range in my entire life. (Btw, as of 2009, 150% for a single person in the48 continental states, is $16,245, a married couple: $21,855 and a 4 person family: $33,075). The higher up (up to 200% or 250%, I don’t remember which) the less leniency you will have, but can still qualify for a rebate of a lesser percent for paying back premiums. Nice check from the gov’t to help you afford living. OMG!

Now, the only even remotely communist thing that has happened is this: The government has stepped in and told a private institution that they have to follow certain rules. This has been happening all of our lives. The FCC (government) tells people what they can and can’t do on TV (as well as regulates electronic signals to reduce interference). Oh, and what about all those regulations that have been put on necessary utilities like phone, gas, water, electricity…. Those have been in place since most of us were still wet dreams. So don’t get all high and mighty now. We’ve had communist ideals for 30 fucking years people!

I think the comments that disgusted me, though, were those saying they don’t want their money going to ‘charity’. Holy shit, god forbid you actually do something non-selfish with your income. Unfortunately, it’s been going to ‘charity’ (aka health programs for those who can’t afford it) since LONG before you were born, and it’s not going to change anytime soon. And these will be the same people complaining to everyone when their Social Security check is a day late. I guarantee it.

Will this bill fix our health care system? Fuck no. It’s a corrupt bastard child that isn’t just the fault of the insurance companies. Will it go a long way to helping those of us who can’t afford to spend 40% of our income on hospital bills or insurance? Definitely. And it doesn’t make us communist… at least, not anymore than before. Gotta problem with it? Vote in different people. Rally your own support. Get elected and ‘make changes’ or stfu and at least get your facts straight before you start backing an institution that is obviously flawed, greedy, broken and out to spend less than 80% of it’s earnings on shit OTHER than their supposed supplied service. Don’t like it? Move to a country in Africa. None of them have any form of universal health care, and I certainly don’t see it happening anytime soon.

It was repealed many many years ago (1930s if I remember correctly) and didn’t have a nationwide standard again until the mid 80’s. This happened only because big corporations got involved, and 2 senators pulled crap out of their ass: OMFG IF WE ADD AN HOUR, THAT’S ONE MORE HOUR PEOPLE CAN BUY FRENCH FRIES! HOLY SHIT!

So, technically since so much of obesity is automatically attributed to bad diets from fast food restaurants, and more importantly the fries and grease that those fries were cooked in until a few years ago, you can blame DST for obesity in the US.

In Indiana, in 2005, they finally passed into effect that we too had to observe DST. In this year, the Indianapolis Police District recorded 13.5 per 100,000 capita of homicides, almost 5 times the 2005 national average. This year, there were SEVERAL multiple murders.

In 2003, it was only 13.1 per 100,000. It doesn’t seem like much of a difference, but when you account for the brutality of the murders in 2005, as compared to the brutality of those in 2003, it becomes apparent of only one thing: DST KILLS!

Yes, you aren’t going to use lights, but you are going to use fans and air conditioning units because guess what? You are at home when you would NORMALLY be at work. So, instead of coming home as your cranny of the world is cooling off, you are coming home when it’s at its hottest. And last I checked, an AC unit takes up a LOT more energy than a singular light.

For the farmer argument, as much as I hate quoting wikipedia, this specific quote has several verifiable resources, so I’ll use it:

It’s a world economy people! So much business is done off of GMT and on the internet, it makes little sense to use any type of time zone period and even less sense for DST to exist. It has no major provable bonuses other than false morale by corporations ‘letting’ their employees go home while it’s still daylight. Well, if they were that concerned about that sort of morale, they’d change employee hours to either pay more so they employee could work less and make the same amount; or change the hours themselves so they actually come in an hour earlier. OMG LOGIC!

The initial thing that threw me off a bit was that there was absolutely no way to cancel your account online. You have to call them. Annoying, off-putting, but doable.

A couple weeks went by, and I got the reminder email from my google calendar stating that my 1 month trial was nearly up. I got on their website, grabbed the number, and called away.

I hit the button for cancelling my account. The automated message says some bs about how I will hear some popping as it tries to connect me. Then, BAM: You must call 1-866-209-0026

“But wait… that’s not the number it says to call on your website to cancel.”

*groan*

So, I call the SECOND number it gives me. I sit on hold listening to their shitty waiting sounds for nearly 15 minutes. Completely annoying, but whatever. As long as I can get this crappy company away from my credit card, I don’t care. After said roughly 15 minutes passes by, I hear a loud pop. I then hear typing. I wait for the agent to say “hi” “hello” “Can you smell the fart I just ripped?” NOTHING. Total silence, except for typing. Are you fucking kidding me?!

About 30 seconds of this goes by, it clicks again, and then the unthinkable happens: I hear that dreaded “You’ve been hung up on” dial tone. NO FUCKING WAY?! You make me call TWO different numbers to cancel and I can’t even do THAT!?

So, I wrote them this nasty little email:

Hello. First of all, I want to complain about how much of a hassle it is to cancel my stamps.com account.

To call one number is ridiculous in this age, when canceling via internet should be all that is necessary, but the fact that I had to hang up and call a DIFFERENT number AFTER I called the first number is just completely unacceptable.

Secondly, when I called the 2nd number, I sat on hold, listening to your “Our customer service agents will be with you right away” tripe for 15 minutes before finally being met with a loud pop and then disconnected dial tone.

I am contemplating going to the BBB with this because it is ridiculous, and you had better believe I am going to USPS with this information. I am sure they will be more than happy to hear they are an approved licensed vendor for a scam company that refuses to cancel when the customer has to jump through hoops.

I want my account canceled now. If I receive as much as a single charge on my credit card, I will charge it back and file with the BBB, my bank as well as any other agency that I deem is necessary to file with.

They sent out like 4 emails. Apparently, they REALLY don’t want someone contacting USPS or the BBB over this stuff

Also notice the other subtle comments in there pointing out how much of an ignorant person she is when it comes to her own job. (“are all 3 lights lit on your modem right now?” “All necessary lights are on” etc…)

Problem : Upgraded speed yesterday, no change in speed tests since then. Have spoken to two other agents, neither of which have fixed the problem
